Dorotheenhütte - glass art to marvel at and participate in
In the last active glass factory in the Black Forest, you can watch glassmakers at work - or even blow a glass yourself! In the glass museum you can find out exciting facts about 2000 years of glass tradition, in Gläserland you will find beautiful souvenirs and in the Hüttenklause there is delicious food.

The Segen Gottes mine in Haslach
The historic “Segen Gottes” silver mine is one of the most important old mines in the Black Forest. The mine is a testimony to around 800 years of mining. Guided tours take place daily from April to October, except on Mondays and Tuesdays. Bookings for the guided tours can be made at the Haslach Tourist Information Office on 07832 706-172. Make sure you secure a place on the tour when you register. As the number of visitors per tour is limited, we cannot guarantee a place without registration. From November to March 31, guided tours are available on request, even for small groups. For organizational reasons, we require a request for a guided tour two to three days before the desired date.

Open-air museum “Vogtsbauernhof”, Gutach
Experience 400 years of history up close: The “Vogtsbauernhof” open-air museum gives you a close-up and live insight into the living and working conditions of earlier times in the Black Forest. The Vogtsbauernhof attracts around 220,000 visitors a year and has been one of the most visited open-air museums in Germany with over 15 million visitors since it opened in 1964.
The Black Forest farms, mills, workshops, restaurants, barns and numerous other buildings show how dairy farming, traditional livestock farming, grain milling, wood processing and textiles were practiced.
There is also an adventure playground for the little ones, a museum store, craft demonstrations and a restaurant with a beer garden and terrace.

The monastery church, the cloister and the dormitory showcase Romanesque architecture at its finest.
In the monastery museum, you can gain exciting insights into monastery life around 1600 - including original clothing worn by the monastery students of the time.
